Cornhill Winter League 6th Period and Final Positions

Dear All

The 2022-23 Cornhill Winter League came to an end yesterday, 30th April 2023, after 30 weeks of intense competition on the court!

The 6th and final period was again very busy, with the five successful divisional winners as follows:

Div 1 - Iain Massey

Div 2 - Malcolm Alphonso

Div 3 - Loz Foster

Div 4 - Scott Cullen

Div 5 - Steve Scott

Hearty congratulations to each of the above and a new ball awaits you when you next visit the club.

Final League Points and Positions

Over the course of the winter, 18 new members have joined this league and they have added some real energy, youth and competiveness over the course of the season.

Cornhill's Winter League Champion is Iain Massey, with Jamie Johnstone the runner-up and Chris Ridgway taking the bronze medal. Congratulations to the three of you for your endeavours and thanks to everyone who has taken part over the season - I hope you enjoyed the challenges!
