Notice of Membership Renewal & Key Change arrangements 2023-24

Dear Members,
This is notice of Membership Renewal & Key Change arrangements 2023-24.

Membership Renewal will take place at the following times when you can renew your membership and exchange your keys by turning up at the Club:

Sunday 24th September from 09:00 – 12:00 when the locks will be changed, the court closed for a general tidy-up by the committee (& anyone that wants to lend a hand!)
Tuesday 26th September from 18:00 – 20.00 when the court will be booked out for anyone that wants to join in with a round-robin knock, or even try some racketball if you haven’t already!

This should be done in person, but if for any reason you are unable to attend either session, then please contact me ASAP on 07824 884155 to make alternative arrangements.

Please don’t leave it too late as we need to allow John Carrington enough time to sort out the competitions which will start at the end of September.

Please remember – this is your club and its success depends on your participation and so we hope that, as well as renewing your membership, you will also sign up for the league and cup competitions!

However, if you are not intending to renew this year, please could you just drop me an email so that we can remove you from our lists and email circulation. We would be grateful if you would also return your door key ASAP by popping it into an envelope & pushing through the club letterbox.

Please remember to bring with you:
1. a completed renewal form (attached) making it clear which competitions you wish to enter;
2. your old key (note that members will be charged an additional £5 if the old key is not returned);
3. a cheque (payable to Cornhill Squash Club) or cash or evidence that you’ve paid by electronic transfer.

Electronic payment details
Bank: Santander
Account name: Cornhill Squash Club
Sort code: 09 01 54
Account number: 43371806

Please note that, for 2023 – 24, as agreed at the AGM in May, the annual full membership subscription has increased from £70 to £75. This still offers what is probably the best value for money squash in the area.

Best wishes,

David Millard
Cornhill Squash Club Secretary
On behalf of the Cornhill Squash Club Committee
